What's a Beta?
A beta website is usually a website in testing, where it's close enough to done to show the public and test out the site's features. It also implies that there could be small bugs in the system (we're talking about technical problems, not actual bugs). Those get pointed out and fixed as more people use the website, and more features are added to the site as time goes on.
